We’re a friendly place, but we’re serious about the artists we feature at our art gallery. Three have work in The Smithsonian. Four have monographs out by prominent publishers. Six have been featured in museum shows. All of them create fantastic fine art that you’ll want to take home with you.

First Fridays
First Fridays are back! We have transitioned from a gallery packed with lots of people to a space with just the right amount of visitors at any given moment. Before, folks showed up for the party. Now they show up for the incredible art. You have more time and space to carefully choose the piece you want to take home.
Out Of Town Artists
We love featuring the best of the best local artists, but we also feature outstanding regional artists (and international artists) as well. We want to keep things fresh for you by showing artists whose fine art you’ve never seen before. That’s one of our roles as a commercial art gallery here in Spokane, Washington.
Art Profs
Here at Marmot we make it a point not to be snooty, but that doesn’t mean that we’ve banned professors. It’s awesome to exhibit cool art profs who ”get” the differences between academic settings and commercial ones. They’re interesting to chat with, create amazing fine art, and add to the mix at our art gallery.
On The Cover
It‘s so cool when our artists appear on the cover of magazines. Here’s it’s Alfredo Arreguin’s turn. Ric Gendron has also appeared on the cover of the Inlander. Patty Warashina’s art has been on the cover of Ceramics magazine. Alfredo’s art has also graced the cover of Art Chowder, as has Patti’s and Ric’s.
Families Are Welcome!
Adults visit our art gallery all time - and sometimes they bring along the little ones. It’s fun to see their eyes light up! Many parents believe that fine art is an essential part of life. Daily exposure to art at home is a healthy part of growth. How to get that art home? Just buy a piece at Marmot. ;)
Artist Talks
One of the coolest parts of our First Friday week activities is when the artists come into our art gallery to talk about their fine art. These talks often occur on Thursdays. Pay close attention to our Facebook and Instagram to find out about these. People really love them!
More Than A Dozen
At any given time we have fine art at our art gallery by a dozen or so artists. In case our Featured Artist isn’t your favorite, no need to worry - we’ve got lots of options by some of your favorites to take home with you!
Massive Reprints
Are you a building owner looking to make your building even more awesome by placing some huge art outside your office? We’ve facilitated several projects like this. We can meet up with you, choose an artist, and get it up on your wall just like this amazing Ric Gendron piece out in the Valley.
